| Arborglyph researcher Peggy Bergon leads a tour of aspen tree carvings in the Pagosa Springs high country. The carvings — signatures, dates, human figures and other designs — were created by shepherds during the first three decades of the 20th century, and are now being recognized as historically important documents, due at least in part to Bergon's research.
