Wolf Creek Ski Area, east of Pagosa Springs atop Wolf Creek Pass, will be opening this Saturday, November 8 for the 2008-2009 season.
Continued...
Wolf Creek is reporting an all natural base of 14 inches with 10 inches of new snow from the current storm and 20 inches year to date. Very early season conditions exist and 30% of the mountain will be open with a small variety of terrain. Treasure, Bonanza, and Nova lifts will be operating from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Lift tickets will be the Local Appreciation rate of $31.00 for adults and $18.00 for seniors and children until further notice. The ski school will be available for lessons of all levels including Wolf Pup classes. All ski and snowboard rentals will be half price for this weekend only.
The Wolf Creek Lodge will be serving lunch and Treasure Sports will be open with all the new fashions for this season.
There is also a Ski School Hiring Interview for all prospective Ski School employees at 9:00am in the Prospector Grill. If you’ve got the personality and patience, come on out! Several full-time positions available, but mostly part-time and holiday help needed for ski, snowboard and Wolf Pup schools. All levels and expertise welcome.
A number of accommodations can be found in Pagosa Springs and South Fork, Colorado. For more detailed information visit the
