Tomorrow, Saturday, June 27 there will be a Patriotic Picnic in Town Park from 11:30-2:00pm.  Everyone is invited-no admission charge. To keep the patriotic theme, there will be a fly-over while the colors are presented by Boy Scout Troop #807 along with the National Anthem sung by a member of the Community Choir.

Activities include live music & entertainment, free games for kids such as face painting and coloring. " EDDIE B COOKING" will be there to provide food and drinks for purchase.

By popular demand, this is also a follow-up to the Tax Day Tea Party and is open to everyone regardless of political party.

The speaker will be Josh Penry, Colorado State Senator, District 7.  Josh is the Minority Leader and at age 31 is the youngest member of the state Senate.  We feel very fortunate that he will come and speak to the citizens of Archuleta County.

So bring your folding chairs and blankets and hope to see you there in your red, white, and blue duds.

Proudly sponsored by the Archuleta County Republican Women.
