The Springs Theatre Company is very excited to announce the second show of this year’s Summer Starlight Series. “The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged)” will take the stage Fridays and Saturdays, July 17 & 18 and 24 & 25. Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Borgensen of the Reduced Shakespeare Company, (as well as the bard, of course), this silly show will amuse and delight even those unfamiliar with Shakespeare’s works.
In a madcap race to the finish, all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays are performed in a little over an hour with three very talented actors portraying all the characters! Family friendly and tons of fun this dinner theater production is a must see!
Presented in the 4,800 square foot Pavilion Tent at Harman Park, audiences will feast on delicious Elizabethan fare of broasted chicken (a vegetarian option is available by request), fresh corn on the cob, seasoned potato halves, warm rolls and butter, and hot apple pasties. Lemonade, coffee and water are complimentary and a well stocked soda bar complete with Zuberfizz sodas is available for those wanting something with a little more punch.
Doors will open for each performance at 6:30pm with pre-show entertainment until 7:00pm when the buffet is served. Admission is $28.00 for adults and $20.00 for children 12 and under and includes supper and the show. Advance tickets are on sale now at The Plaid Pony (970-731-5262) or online at the Springs Theatre website.
For more information please contact Michael DeWinter at 970-731-5262 or Rick Artis at 970-731-8914 or visit the website. |
