We hope everyone had a chance to Celebrate America with the Center and all the activities around town. We want to give an extra “Thank You”, to the Red Hats, American Legion, Claudine & Mark McAnelly for being with us every year, and the fantastic entertainment. We hope to always bring a very special night of entertainment for the entire community.
I don’t know how else I can say it, “Tacky, tacky, wonderfully tacky.” That's our upcoming "Tacky Dance" scheduled for July 24, 7-11pm. You must be there, there is now excuse, we have the tunes, the place, and you just come to have the fun! This 21 and over, cash bar, feet stomping, tackalicious DJ Dude hit playing party, will be your evening of delight when you purchase your tickets at; Higher Grounds Coffee, Happy Trails and Community Center. They are only $10 in advance, and $12 at the door.

 Advertise your business at the Center! We have a new display case just waiting to advertise all the wonderful businesses in our area. We have weekly and monthly rates. There is a steady flow of traffic passing the display case, and we have a variety of visitors daily. To give you an idea how well the display case is working, our fictitious business on display has gotten numerous inquires, just think how well it will work for an actual business? Come in or call the Center for more information.
Get your imaginative juices flowing for the Festival of Tree’s December 1-4, this is a great opportunity for Archuleta County organizations to raise money, and enjoy a fun evening. We have applications at the front desk. Don’t miss this year.
