SJMA Hikes for Grown-ups: Next hike, Saturday, July 11.
San Juan Mountains Association and San Juan Public Lands have a new program this year for adults 18 and older who would like to meet other hikers, learn about trails and our public lands in the Dolores and Mancos area. Volunteers will lead hikes throughout the summer on interesting trails on the San Juan Public Lands. Hikes will be in the Dolores and Mancos area and will be easy to moderate and suitable for anyone in good physical condition.
Our next hike will be our “Wildflower Hike” at Lizard Head. Participants will meet at 8 am at the Dolores Public Lands Office, 29211 Hwy 184 to carpool. Karen Dickson will be hosting the hike. Hikers should bring a day pack, rain gear, lunch, water and snacks. For more information contact Karen Dickson, 394-4862. No sign up necessary. Just come and bring a friend!
San Juan Mountains Association promotes responsible care of natural and cultural resources through education and hands-on involvement that inspires respect and reverence for our lands, since 1988.
