“Craft Lager Festival, Inc. is a 501c(7) non-profit organization staffed by volunteers," says Julian Heron, President of Craft Lager Festival.  "We host an annual beer festival for bottom-fermented, hand-crafted beers (craft lagers). USA Today rated us one of the top ten beer festivals in the country. We continue to be the only U. S. beer festival that highlights this specific type of beer, provides a setting with close access to the brewers, and offers a solar-powered, sustainable festival. To top it all off, the setting for this year is Memorial Park in beautiful Manitou Springs, Colorado.”

All proceeds for this event support open space and parks in Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. To date we have supported Section 16 and Red Rock Canyon Open Space, Friends of Cheyenne Canyon, and Soda Springs Park. The more tickets we sell, the more we can support our local parks. This year’s theme is 'DRINK A BEER – SAVE A TREE' to show our commitment to help preserve the environment.

Historic Manitou Springs offers world-class outdoor activities, great sights such as Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods, and abundant nearby lodging and dining. It’s an easy walk to the festival in the big park in Manitou Springs, Memorial Park at 502 Manitou Ave. from local motels and B&Bs. Come discover this scenic, historic city at the foot of the Colorado Rockies.

We need your help! If you’d like to sponsor this event with a donation or services, please send us a message at craftlagerfest@yahoo.com. Your sponsorship will be marketed on event materials (T-shirts, banners, cups, etc.), in media advertising (radio, print, cable, Internet, TV) and acknowledged during the two-day festival.  You will be proud to be part of this ground-breaking, non-profit event!
