On Sunday, July 5, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will consider “ Revolutionary Unitarians and Universalists: Fireworks in America.” This sermon, honoring the Fourth  of July, will be presented by Pagosa’s past UU Fellowship president, Susan Junta.

Originally delivered in 2008 by the Reverend Kathy Duhon from Massachusetts, it explores the historical and spiritual roots of our country as they relate to the Unitarian Universalist faith.  Ms. Junta points out that “Our UU religious values were the deep concerns of the patriots who began this country.”

Throughout July, the Children’s Religious Exploration (CRE) Program will take time to explore our world. We will spend time outside walking and discovering what our physical world has to offer to our inner, or spiritual, world.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.
