About 450 people attended the inaugural Pagosa Renaissance & Pirate Festival, held in Town Park last weekend. The Chamber sponsored event also featured the participation of local and regional vendors. Highlights included live music and belly dance performances, camel rides, theater by the Gypsy Players, children's activities, cask-brewed ale, a "Drench a Wench" dunking booth, and demonstrations by the Durango Society for Creative Anachronism group.
