San Juan Basin Health Department is offering opportunities in February for anyone who wants to get vaccinated against the seasonal flu and/or H1N1. The seasonal flu shots are $25 and H1N1 vaccinations are free.

These FluPLUS clinics are also a great opportunity for individuals to get caught up on their Tetanus and Pertussis (whooping cough) booster combination shot which is offered for only $15 (one third the normal cost). Pneumonia shots are offered at this low cost as well and are recommended now for anyone at high risk for respiratory disease.

These clinics will be held at San Juan Basin Health Department in Pagosa Springs on three Mondays in February: February 1 from 1 to 4pm.; February 8 from 2 to 4pm.; and February 22 from 1 to 4pm. Additionally, a FluPlus Clinic will be held at the Arboles Catholic Church on Thursday, February 4 from 11am to Noon.
