Meow, meow, meow…oops, where are my manners? Hello there in human terms! My name is ‘Libby’ and I’m here to tell you about myself so that you will want to rush over here and adopt me! Ready? O.K. then, here goes.

First, have you scrolled down to look at my photo? See me dangling on the shoulders of the Humane Society’s nice lady? I LOVE her and I love humans in general! I will jump into your arms, purring like a race car, and my favorite thing is to climb onto your shoulders and keep your neck warm. There isn’t a mean bone in my feline body.  Continued...

Speaking of bodies, I am slender and young, at just one year, spayed after already having three kittens of my own! Whew! I was a baby having my own babies and I am so, so glad the human doctor made sure that never happens again. A LOT of work being a good cat parent, let me tell you. There’s all the licking, and feeding, and loss of sleep, and then of course the discipline of those youngsters. But that is all behind me know and I am a free agent.

Besides being slender and young, my fur is very soft and rich, a beautiful warm gray with white markings. This shows my green eyes off beautifully! I follow humans around with both my green eyes and my soft furred body, as I am devoted to them. Besides giving humans lots of affection, I love to romp and play because I’m still young. When humans play with me I don’t use my claws, and I can be touched safely everywhere, even on my soft belly.  It has been a while since I first arrived here at the cat shelter, me and my three kittens. Now my two feline daughters and one son are the same size as I am, too darned big for their britches if you ask me!

Will you take the time to come here and finish my rescue? The shelter has done their bit by caring for me and my three kittens. Now I need a permanent family to love me. You KNOW that I’ll love you! I am here at the shelter on Cloman Blvd., just off Piedra Road. Give them a call, 970-731-4771 and tell them “I would like to visit Libby from the Pagosa Daily Post article”. I’ll be ready to greet you with the warmest affection and deepest purring you can imagine.
