Early Detection Week has returned to Pagosa Mountain Hospital — and will be held this week, February 8-13. Hours of operation are 8:30-11:00am Monday through Saturday, and 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday and Thursday.
The Upper San Juan Health Service District's Pagosa Mountain Early Detection Clinic is holding another Early Detection Week from Monday, February 8 through Saturday, February 13 on the campus of Pagosa Mountain Hospital.
Once again, a free cardiac screen will be offered, which consists of a blood pressure reading, glucose test, and full lipid panel cholesterol test.
No appointment is necessary during the Early Detection week, and the hours for each day will be from 8:30AM to 11:00am, as well as Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00PM to 7:00pm.
Patients are required to fast for 12 hours prior to the appointment. There will also be patient requested lab tests available during the same time for a nominal fee, such as testing for prostate, diabetes, thyroid, complete blood count, metabolic panel, and more.
