Democrats Announce Caucus Schedule

The Archuleta County Democratic Party has announced the precinct meeting locations for Democratic caucuses on March 16 at 7:00pm.

Caucus locations are:

Precinct 1 - Pagosa Baking Company, 238 Pagosa Street, Pagosa Springs

Precinct 2 - Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis Street, Pagosa Springs

Precinct 3 - Pagosa Springs Community Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs

Precinct 4 - County Road and Bridge Building Arboles, 95 County Road 973, Arboles

Precinct 5 - Aspen Springs Metro District Shop, 216 Metro Drive, Pagsosa Springs (Aspen Springs Unit #5)

Precinct 6 - UU Fellowship, Greenbriar Plaza, 301 N Pagosa Blvd, Unit B-15, Pagosa Springs

Precinct 7 - Pagosa Springs Community Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs

Precinct 8 - United Country Mountain Properties, 2017 Eagle Drive, Pagosa Springs

At the caucus Democrats will select their two precinct central committee members for a two-year term, discuss and express preferences for various candidates, including US Senator, approve resolutions on issues and policies at the local, state, and national level, and discuss local issues of importance to the community. 

They will also select delegates to the Democratic County Assembly scheduled for Saturday, April 10 at 1:30pm, at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis Street, Pagosa Springs.

All Democrats are welcome!  A person may vote at the precinct caucus, be elected a delegate or alternate from the caucus or be elected a precinct committee person if they have been a resident of the precinct for 30 days, registered to vote in the precinct for at least 29 days and registered as a Democrat for not less than 2 months prior to the caucus.
