The Pagosa Nordic Club organized a healthy group of participants for the Winterfest Nordic Races in Town Park, Yamaguchi Park and Reservoir Hill.
Kids as young as five years old had the opportunity to test their abilities at the Town Park football field where volunteers groomed a track for racing. Nordic Families and several spectators and volunteers enjoyed fabulous weather and good company for activities that are a Pagosa natural. Continued...
The Spa Trail on Reservoir Hill was bustling with the Nordic athletes, at least 30 participants from Pagosa and other towns such as Chama, and Durango showed up to participate. Continued...
The Nordic Club has several groomed trails around Pagosa Country that present spectacular areas to Skate Ski, Cross Country Ski and Snow Shoe. Demos, Races and events are scheduled throughout the season. To check out race results or get more info, check out the club website.
