Faith and begorrah, go hide the menorah,
Saint Patrick is coming--how grand!
With a wild party scene, and folks wearing green,
They'll be smiling all over the land!
They'll sing "Danny Boy" and dance jigs of joy,
And honor a famous musician.
Macnamarra's his name, leading bands was his game,
Merrymaking and mirth was his mission.
Graves' lineage is English, while Duncan's a Scot,
FitzPatrick is Irish, 'tis true.
But Elginer? What kind of name has he got?
Does it sound at all Irish to you?
Names really don't matter on St. Patrick's Day,
What matters is having a ball!
