Back to the News Summaries
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, more than 3 million cases of occupational injuries and illnesses were reported in the year 2008. The Special District Association Property & Liability Pool understands the issues local governments and businesses face when dealing with Worker’s Compensation matters, and are offering a training opportunity in your area to address employer concerns surrounding the proper handling of claims.
The program agenda will focus on supervisor responsibility, pre-employment screening, supervising an employee on modified duty and conducting an accident/incident investigation.
The training will be held at Durango Fire Rescue at 142 Sheppard Drive Durango, CO 81303 on April 13, 2010 from 8:30am to 3:00pm.
Presenters will include faculty from the Special District Association Property & Liability Pool and County Technical Services Inc. (CTSI).
Registration fees for the session are $20.00 for SDA Property & Liability POOL Members and $40.00 for Non POOL Members. Lunch is included in your registration fee.
Space is limited so please go to the
SDACO website to register.
For information regarding this training opportunity, please contact Donna Alengi at (303) 863-1733 or donna.alengi@sdaco.org
