Wednesday July 28, The Music in the Mountains Series held a free concert in Town Park.  Sponsored by Al and Marti Bledsoe, the performance included 3 trombones and a tuba, a somewhat unusual mix of orchestral instruments.  Continued...

The professional brass ensemble included Chris Oliver, Richard White, Byron Herrington and Richard Graham.  The eclectic selection of tunes started with the Star Spangled Banner, and included The Sting theme song and and a fun rendition of 
two Motown selections: My Girl and My Guy.  Continued...

The all-brass players performed for nearly an hour.   Picnics were seen, several out  town guests were in attendance and the weather was just beautiful.  Continued...

Tonight, Friday, July 30 is the final concert of the season in Pagosa Springs.  It has been a year of many changes for the program and the community continues to benefit in so many ways.
