The Colorado Wildlife Commission is scheduled to make final adjustments to the 2010 waterfowl and migratory bird hunting seasons and all related regulatory changes at its August workshop in Granby. The workshop will take place Monday, August 9 at the Inn at Silver Creek, 62927 U.S. Highway 40 in Granby. It will begin at 8:30am and adjourn at 1:45pm.
Wildlife commissioners will consider changes to the waterfowl seasons, including an increase of the daily bag limit for pintails from one to two birds in the Central Flyway portion of Colorado.
The Commission will also receive updates from Division of Wildlife staff on the Aquatic Nuisance Species Program and draft elk management plans for the Troublesome (GMUs 18, 181) and Williams Fork (GMUs 28,37, and 371)areas.
Members of the public who are unable to attend Commission meetings and workshops can listen to the proceedings through a link on the DOW's website. This opportunity is provided to keep constituents better informed about the development of regulations by the Commission and how they and DOW staff are resolving issues facing Colorado's wildlife.

The Colorado Wildlife Commission is an 11-member board appointed by the governor. The Wildlife Commission sets Division of Wildlife regulations and policies for hunting, fishing, watchable wildlife, nongame, threatened and endangered species.
