September 10 through the 17 is the 1st annual Durango Showcase of the Arts. The entire week will be full of special events and activities highlighting the Artists, Galleries, and talents of Durango. The Open Shutter never passes up an opportunity to have a party — so we're planning a great line-up of programs. - September 15, 5PM Lecture on Christo and the Running Fence Project by James Van Liere, Presented by ArtsPerspective Magazine
- September 16, 5PM to 9PM Special one-night-only sculpture exhibit by Jeff and Susan Wise with live music by Alan Kahler
- September 17, 5PM to 9PM Fall Gallery Walk & 'Toyed With' Opening Reception
- September 18, 5PM Open House for Make All Children Smile in Zimbabwe

Horse Photography Workshop with Tony Stromberg
In honor of this years Durango Cowboy Gathering we've organized a one day workshop with Tony Stromberg- Saturday, October 2 at HD Ranch.
