Puja Dhyan Parsons, Owner & CEO of Growing Spaces LLC has been one of 24 people selected to represent her company in the Entrepreneur Showcase at the Slow Money National Gathering on October 13, in San Fransisco, CA.

A hallmark of the Slow Money National Gathering, the Entrepreneur Showcase features promising food enterprises from all around the U.S. Featured businesses are given the opportunity to introduce potential investors to their company in a presentation to a nationwide audience of over 800.

Companies at all stages, serving markets large and small, offering diverse value propositions, and spanning the food system spectrum will be presenting.

The Slow Money Alliance is bringing people together around a new conversation about money that is too fast, about finance that is disconnected from people and place, about how we can begin fixing our economy from the ground up... starting with food. Slow Money aims to enhance food security, food safety and food access; improve nutrition and health; promote cultural, ecological and economic diversity; and accelerate the transition from an economy based on extraction and consumption to an economy based on preservation and restoration.

Growing Spaces' energy-efficient geodesic greenhouse design gives the ability to grow organic food year around using solar power. Aiming to be a part of the ‘solution’ to the problems of our times, Growing Spaces models the success of economic viability and social responsibility along with eco-friendliness. They are green in authentic ways that demonstrate the use of alternative energy, even in manufacturing.

Growing Spaces models and educates about sustainability in as many ways they can. Designed and built in the Rocky Mountains, the Growing Dome® greenhouse is a solution for sustainable projects that are private and public, and acts as a centerpiece for many schools and institutions that model holistic health.
