Dale Johnson | 1/20/12
The drama “Scratching the Surface” by playwright Dennis Bush is a thought provoking and challenging one-act play to be presented by the award-winning Drama Club ensemble group from the Pagosa Springs High School Theater Department.

The play will be entered into competition — as well as performed for the public for one performance only, tomorrow, Saturday January 21, 7pm in the high school auditorium.

Preparing for a one-act requires a minimum of a six week rehearsal period, every day after school, in addition to technical rehearsals and one-on-one work time.  The veteran cast includes fourteen Senior actors and three juniors; all have performed in other high school and Music Boosters shows and concerts.  Please plan on being part of their performance audience and supporting the performing arts in our schools.

Admission to the Saturday January 21, 7pm performance is $5, with proceeds to the Theater program at the school.
