I must applaud Commissioner Michael Whiting utilizing any media outlet to clarify his “accountability” position — whether right or wrong — on any controversial community topic.
And I’m not surprised at all to see our “non-elected” County commissioner Steve Wadley bowing to another’s desires. I guess Pagosa’s Mayor also “handled” him! But it does demonstrate, to a tee, Mr. Wadley’s lack of leadership skills.
 Thankfully, the County voters did not elect Mr. Wadley their Archuleta County Sheriff a few years ago. That would have been comparable to giving a genuine monkey a hand grenade to play with... guaranteed folly. |
