Wrong Location for a Big Box

I have read the Daily Post examination as to where Walmart may be building in Pagosa Lakes. I hope this is not true.

The placement of the new construction will greatly depreciate the visual experience of homeowners in that area. The lights from the store and parking lot lights will contaminate the nightime vision of stars and pollute the vision of homeowners adjacent to and across from Pinon Lake to see the San Juans.

The traffic from shoppers will also decimate the quietude that currently exists in the area. I abhor this type of construction anywhere near residential areas and it should be designated for business or industrial areas only.

Damn Walmart for their intrusion into God’s country...
