Nordic Ski System

As a response to Norm Vance's Daily Post opinion article, "A Modest Proposal for Reservoir Hill" ... I wonder if Mr. Vance would, without getting overly specific, please define "nordic skiing system"?

Does this require erecting a ski lift already owned by The Town of Pagosa Spings? I believe a " nordic skiing system" would have to include at least "one" huge nordic ski jump.  Perhaps the top level of proposed observation tower could be constructed to be used as the take-off deck for this proposed nordic jump — to be used for training our future US Winter Olympic Nordic Skiing Athletes?

Why not set up Reservoir Hill as a proper place to train for an Olympic Nordic Skiing events ? The steep side of Reservoir Hill next to the San Juan Motel would be a great location for the legitimate nordic ski jumps that must be included in any legitimate "nordic skiing system".
