Guys on Ice. Musical/Comedy - Rated: PG. From their ice fishing shanty, long-time pals Lloyd and Marvin keep warm with a mutual appreciation for good bait, cold beer, and the Green Bay Packers. As Marvin anxiously awaits his opportunity to appear on a cable TV fishing show and share secrets of his life on da' lake, Lloyd ponders a recent squabble with his wife concerning plans to spend their anniversary at Lambeau Field. Both pals scramble to protect their cold ones from fellow angler, Ernie the Moocher. With musical numbers like "De Wishing Hole," "Ode to a Snowmobile Suit," and "Fish is de Miracle Food," Guys on Ice will charm your wool socks off. $15 in advance or $20 at the door.  Learn the basics of Facebook in fun environment. Promote your business in a way that will draw your target market to you and make them want to listen. Network with other businesses to increase traffic. Learn the right and wrong ways to promote yourself and your business on Facebook, effective methods of increasing your fans and thus your revenue. Basics of using Facebook and how to tie it into other network marketing sites. How to set up a "fan" (business) page on Facebook. Instructor: Tess Challis. Mondays, 6pm-8pm. Cost: $50. No Impact Man: A Year Without Toilet Paper. For one-year Colin Beavan and his family UNPLUGGED. During that period they went without electricity, produced virtually no trash, traveled almost exclusively by foot or bike, and ate nothing except locally grown food. By the end they discovered something surprising: Living simply wasn't just something good for the environment, it made them... VIEW THE MOVIE TO FIND OUT! This event is free and open to the public. Donations accepted to help support Southwest Light and Learning Center, a nonprofit 501(c)3 institute for higher awareness. 7pm. Pagosa Lodge.

Come Dance to the Music with DJ Dude. DJ Dude will play all your favorites and requests. Join us for dancing, line dancing and a great time. Bring light snacks to share and enjoy our cash bar. Sewing Workshops. All levels of cut and sew abilities are welcome. Three local companies are in need of piece work sewers and want to create a shared sewing network. Work at home, set your own hours and manage your own work quantity. Bring your own machine and/or cutting materials, as well as samples of your work. Sewing abilities and equipment will be assessed and various projects discussed. Saturday January 28th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday January 31st from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Chamber of Commerce Conference Room. DEADLINE: Youth Logo Contest. The Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation (PSCDC) is sponsoring a "Positive About Pagosa" Logo Contest. The LOGO will be used on, but not limited to Tee shirts, banners and posters. The winner will receive a check for $500. Logos must be submitted via mail by February 15.
