The Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District, a special district in Archuleta County that provides treated drinking water and sewer treatment services for the area around Pagosa Springs, will hold an election of board officers on May 8, 2012.
Six individuals have submitted self-nominations for the PAWSD 2012 Board of Directors Election and all six have been confirmed eligible to run:
- Burt Adams
- Patrick O'Brien
- Glenn Walsh
- Chris Pitcher
- Raymond Finney
- Mike Church
Beginning yesterday, Monday, April 16, requests for mail-in ballot materials may be submitted to PAWSD Designated Election Official, Renee Lewis. PAWSD does not participate in the Permanent Mail-In Ballot Program run may Archuleta County, as it is reportedly "not cost-effective" for the District. Requests may be submitted in person, however, at 100 Lyn Ave. Pagosa Springs, Colorado; by telephone at 970-731-2691; by email sent to renee@pawsd.org; or by regular mail sent to P.O. Box 4610 Pagosa Springs, CO 81157.
 The May 8, 2012 polling place location will be at the PAWSD Administrative Offices, 100 Lyn Ave. Pagosa Springs, from 7am until 7pm.
