For those of you who may not know this already, Hospice of Mercy will not be holding their annual Soup for the Soul event this February.

With that in mind, The Chamber of Commerce has created a great, charitable event to kick off WinterFest 2013, called The Chilly Bowl! It is a chile, soup, stew, posole, cornbread - eat to your heart's content - competitive event.

We are looking for individuals and businesses willing to register their chilly bowl yumminess! We have attached the registration form for you. Please read it through, and consider registering your favorite soup, stew, red chile, green chile, posole and/or cornbread. Entries from each category will be judged and top winners in each category will receive a $50 cash prize and bragging rights.

Attendees of the event will pay $25 for a ticket, and will be given one vote for People's Choice. The overall People's Choice winner will receive $100 in cash and a trophy. The Chilly Bowl takes place at the Ross Aragon Community Center - Thursday, February 7th from 5:30pm-9:00pm.

Deadline for registering your food for the event is Monday, February 4th at 5pm. You do not need to attend the event to register, you can drop it off and go. So register yours today!
