Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service: 'Unitarian Heresies'
John Graves | 2/22/13

On Sunday, February 24, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service topic will be "Unitarian Heresies," presented on DVD by the Reverend Christine Robinson from the Unitarian Church of Albuquerque.  She explains  "The word 'heresy' is related to ancient words meaning 'to choose for oneself' and later to mean ideas chosen in opposition to authorities of church or state who had established other truths."

Christine adds, "Unitarian Universalists are heretics to the core; not only have we chosen to believe things that orthodox faiths claim are wrong, we believe that the essence of a faithful life is in making these very choices, believing for ourselves, rather than adhering to what others say is true."

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, and child care will be provided.  The address is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza.  Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.  All are welcome!
