The Following X-C Ski Trails have recently groomed by the Pagosa Nordic Club wide for skate skiing as wellas set tracks for classic X-C Skiing and are FREE to use.
- The Pagosa Springs Golf Course: 5km groomed on February 22nd
- West Fork: 10km groomed on February 24th
- Yamaguchi Park: 1km groomed on February 24th
- Alberta Park: 10km groomed on February 25th
This Sunday, March 3rd the Pagosa Nordic Club hosts the second annual Pagosa Springs Quad Challenge. This challenging race includes:
- 5km classic ski or a 10 km skate ski
- 3km run
- 22 km road bike
- 1/2-km swim
Participate as an individual or in teams up to four.
A large number of Volunteers are still needed for this popular event. There will be an EVENT VOLUNTEER meeting this Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 5:15pm in Town Hall.
