X-C Ski Trails Grooming Report

The Following X-C Ski Trails have recently groomed by the Pagosa Nordic Club wide for skate skiing as wellas set tracks for classic X-C Skiing and are FREE to use.

  • The Pagosa Springs Golf Course: 5km groomed on February 22nd
  • West Fork: 10km groomed on February 24th
  • Yamaguchi Park: 1km groomed on February 24th
  • Alberta Park: 10km groomed on February 25th

This Sunday, March 3rd the Pagosa Nordic Club hosts the second annual Pagosa Springs Quad Challenge. This challenging race includes:

  • 5km classic ski or a 10 km skate ski
  • 3km run 
  • 22 km road bike
  • 1/2-km swim

Participate as an individual or in teams up to four.

A large number of Volunteers are still needed for this popular event. There will be an EVENT VOLUNTEER meeting this Thursday,  February 28, 2013 at 5:15pm in Town Hall.
If you are unavailable to attend the meeting, but would like to volunteer some time between 8am and 12noon on Sunday March 3rd, please let us know, and we will assign you a course monitor position at the meeting. E-mail: pagosanordic@gmail.com or call James Dickhoff at 970-946-7225
