AEDA Membership Luncheon Thursday |

The Archuleta Economic Development Association (AEDA) will be holding its 3rd Annual Membership meeting this Thursday. March 27, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The keynote speaker will be Clarke Becker, President and CEO of the Colorado Rural Development Council. The CRDC is the "Dedicated Voice for Rural Colorado." CRDC, in concert with federal, state and local partners, deals with issues relating to community development and infrastructure, healthcare and telecommunications.
Becker was born in Colorado Springs and has been a resident of Woodland Park, Colorado for almost 28 years. He graduated from Baker University with a degree in Secondary Education. Following graduation, he taught high school physical education and coached football and basketball and at Woodland Park High School for 8 years.
Becker was the Executive Director of the Teller County Economic Development Council from 1993 to 2003. Prior to that, he had 10 years working as a representative in insurance and financial services.
Becker will be speaking on “Growing the Economic Base in a Rural Community”. The event will be held at Centerpoint Church in Pagosa Springs and includes a catered lunch. Tickets can be purchased for $60 for non-AEDA members, $55 for AEDA members. Sponsored tables are also available for $300, and include 6 seats at the event.
