Joseph Derdzinski, PhD, of Colorado Springs, Colorado was recently elected to the Mosaic Board of Directors. The Mosaic Board of Directors governs all aspects of the organization. The Board consists of 13 members who reside throughout the United States.
“As a parent of a child with severe disabilities and needs, I believe I bring a perspective to the Mosaic board that understands how Mosaic can best serve its clients as well those who care about them. I’m very excited and pleased to be on the Mosaic board, particularly because of the care, commitment and skills of my fellow board members. Mosaic is an inspired organization!”
Derdzinski is a US Air Force officer currently assigned as Chief of the Comparative Politics Division, Department of Political Science at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. He spent most of his career as a special agent in the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations, with overseas assignments in Germany and the United Kingdom. Lieutenant Colonel Derdzinski earned a Doctor of Philosophy from The Graduate School of International Relations at The University of Denver. Derdzinski also holds a Master of Arts in Russian and East European Studies, a Master of Science in International Relations and a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is currently a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies, The Slovene Studies Society and The Western Political Science Association.
