Reading is a universal pastime, and so, to do our part in this, Pagosa Springs held a book drive during the week of March 31 - April 4.  Today is the final day for dropping off books which will be donated to a library in Africa — so this project will not only be helping our community, but our entire world.

Pagosa Springs High School will be the donating center and will have a drop-off box available at all times throughout the week. Any type of book, from picture to chapter books are welcomed. It is required that you write a short note of encouragement inside the front cover of the book and sign your name, to make your donation more personal and special.

For more information, please contact teacher Nancy Esterbrook at PSHS, 970-264-2231, or student Emmi Greer at 970-903-9140.
