This summer, STRT co-artistic director, Charles M Pepiton will direct the Shakespearean favorite A Midsummer Night’s Dream, opening Thursday, July 10 and playing through August 2. One of William Shakespeare's most beloved comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream is a perfect blend of triumphant love, mischievous spectacle, and fairy tale magic. This slick new production blurs the line between fantasy and reality, as the characters find themselves caught in a web of magic in the Athenian woods. It's sure to be fun for the whole family!
As part of its mission, the theatre creates new and enduring work each season. For 2008, Square Top presents an exciting new adaptation of Cervantes’s Don Quixote created and directed by Shane Fuller, co-artistic director/resident playwright. The show opens Thursday, July 17 and plays through August 1.
 Square Top will also host performance workshops for youth grades 7-12 on July 29-30, 2008 in conjunction with the Pagosa Arts Council. For workshop information contact PSAC at 970-264-5020. All performances and workshops during the 2008 season will be held at the Pagosa Community Center.
Upon closing the shows in Pagosa, Square Top will take A Midsummer Night’s Dream on a four-city tour of South Korea, offering this classic to an international audience.
