Pagosa Springs Music Boosters are proud and excited to announce the 2008 season, their nineteenth year of producing musical and theatrical entertainment in support of the performing arts.

Memorial Day weekend starts our performance year off with "Kaleidoscope Too", a benefit concert for the Boosters in support of performing arts in our schools — featuring local professional musicians and vocalists on stage playing their hearts out as they did several years ago in the original Kaleidoscope program created by Melinda Baum.

Then, opening on July 4th we will be presenting "Annie"  by Thomas Meehan, Martin Charnin and Charles Strouse, a delightful Broadway musical based on the old comic strip "Little Orphan Annie", with a cast full of kids and "grown-ups" of all ages.

For our Holiday show in November, Music Boosters will be stepping into a new venue of experience and performance as they take on "Into the Woods" by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, a modern classic that uses timely fairy tales to teach lessons about responsibility and the stories we tell our children.

We can't wait to begin!

Watch for audition dates in April for "Annie" and other announcements about "Kaleidoscope Too" and "Into the Woods".  Music Boosters  turns all of its profit back into our college scholarship program, schools and community.  We thank the people of Pagosa Springs for all of their support and hard work.  Questions?  Call Lisa Hartley, Music Boosters President at 731-2130 or visit their website.
