Who’s got the run on EARS at this Shelter? Why ME of course! The staff fondly call me “Batman”, and other nicknames. Continued...
Well, my feelings aren’t hurt. Have you seen my ears? They are so special and funky and fun! I really stand out in a crowd, all 25 - 30 pounds of me. That’s right, I may be a small guy, but I stand out in the ear department.
Of course many describe me as more than a pair of walking ears. I’m a brindle coated healthy male, and am a mix of Corgie (like the Queen’s dogs) and heeler. I love to play. And when someone takes me for a walk I stick real close to them. They say I’m the best walker they have at the Shelter. Sheesh, I don’t know. I do love those walks though on my short legs. I don’t like to pull you around much, but I do like being by your side.
I love other dogs, and KIDS, and parents, and cats are OK too. Pretty much everything is fine with me. Everything except for the fact that I’m here and not in a real home! I love cuddles and having my belly rubbed. Well, who doesn’t if we are all honest about it? My hazel/gold eyes perfectly suit my marbled coat of hair, and of course, there’s the EARS. Just too cute my mother always said. I’m just seven months old, so though I’ve nearly reached my full size, I still miss Mom. Sigh. Anyway, no need to be maudlin about it.
So, this is me. Small, humble, fun, loves everyone and everything, and has the best EARS in Pagosa Springs. Please visit the Humane Society and see for yourselves, or give them a call, 970-731-4771. Maybe you could drive over and visit me at 465 Cloman Blvd., off of Piedra Road. Bring the kids and the camera! |
