In today’s uncertain economic environment, bringing customers in the door is a critical factor to success. Marketing can help you do that. It is the only business activity that impacts your “top line.”
Marketing for Smarties makes marketing accessible and affordable for those who know little about it, have the least time for it, and yet have the most need. It’s a unique marketing business process that empowers business owners to do something about their chances for success.
The Marketing for Smarties Challenge is a series of three workshops scheduled over a two-month period. The program is offered by the Small Business Development Center of Fort Lewis College, with sponsorship by the San Juan College Enterprise Center, Region9, Archuleta Economic Development Association, Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce, and the Archuleta County Education Center.
Marketing for Smarties uses the same marketing principles and tools that guide major corporations and strips them down for the small business. During the program, business owners receive personal coaching and peer feedback as they actually develop a basic, enduring marketing and sales process and a simple, actionable, and affordable six-month marketing plan tailored to their specific needs.
When you invest your time in the Marketing for Smarties program and make the commitment to follow through, you can expect to:
- Better position your company in your marketplace
- Improve your marketing process
- Grow your business
- Become a marketing thinker and doer
The next Marketing for Smarties Challenge starts today, Thursday, May 8 at the Archuleta County Education Center and runs from 5:30 to 9:00pm. (Second and third classes on June 5 and June 26.) The fee for the course, including book and all materials, is $149.
