On Sunday, April 27, The Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will consider The Wisdom of Transcendentalism. The Reverend Christine Robinson, a leading spokesperson of Unitarian Universalism, will be speaking from Albuquerque by way of a new DVD pilot program designed to facilitate outreach and inspire more in-depth awareness of UUism.
She points out, “Because we are a community of seekers, questions are as welcome as answers! Wisdom is found everywhere across the world and throughout history. There is no true way, no one way... each person must take his or her own personal journey.”
She goes on to add that the downside of perpetual seeking, however, is in not finding. “We must choose a path and practice it! Transcendentalism offers a thoughtful and meaningful clue to our rich heritage.”
The children's program, led by youth childcare provider Rachel Jensen, will have the chance to read and discuss several stories from various native cultures, and perhaps even go outside to enjoy the spring weather.
The service begins at 10:30am in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbrier Drive off of North Pagosa by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign. All are welcome. |
