The event celebrates beauty, creativity, and sustainability with local farmers, artists, and craftsman as they share their skills, talents, and harvests. May Faire will be filled with entertainment from local musicians and thespians young and old. The opportunity for children of all ages to engage in artistic activities will present itself through beeswax modeling, face-painting, dandelion crown-making, block-making, bubble wands, butterfly sticks, May pole dancing, and much more.
Magical Hands handwork group will have their hand-made crafts for sale with 100% of their proceeds donated to the Pagosa Kinderhouse. Local bakers and chefs have generously donated their time, skill, and supplies to provide food and refreshments with all proceeds going to the Pagosa Waldorf Initiative.

Pagosa Waldorf Initiative is a non-profit organization in Archuleta County. True to their mission, the Pagosa Waldorf Initiative strives to provide holistic education in a sustainable environment. The curriculum cultivates a love of learning, creative thinking, self confidence, and reverence for humanity and the natural world, through a balance of academics, arts, and practical and physical activities.
