The Pagosa Springs Arts Council is pleased to announce the upcoming Advanced High School Art Exhibit, which will open next week at the Art Center Gallery in Town Park.

The theme of this varied exhibit is “From the Illusionary Axis” and features work by 13 students in the Advanced High School Art classes at Pagosa Springs High School. Several of these pieces received top honors at the 2008 Intermountain League Art Competition.

The opening reception is Thursday, May 8, from 5-7pm at Town Park Gallery. The exhibit will be on display from May 8 through May 27.  Rebekah Wilkins- Pepiton, High School Art Teacher, is the coordinator of the exhibit.
