The Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, sponsored by the Pagosa Springs Community Center and the Spanish Fiesta Committee on Saturday, May 3, was a "smashing" success attended by young and older alike. Continued...

Colorful dancing, spicy food, and genuine enthusiasm filled the community center to celebrate Cino de Mayo. I must say children ruled the day and they were a photographer's delight. Mercy Korsgren and her sombrero (hatful) of enthusiastic volunteers encouraged and guided everyone to a day of celebration and community connection.

A great time was had by all!
