A group of Pagosa Springs dancers has been meeting at the Community Center to learn and enjoy couples and line dancing, and the next session is this coming Friday, May 16.

Jitterbug has been the focus of our Monday morning group this month, so maybe we will recognize some steps. Who knows? If you forget something, watch Bob and Sharon. They don’t miss a trick.  Bring your music request, both artist and song for the DJ.

Once again we would like to highlight a special achievement by a Pagosa resident. We know Liz through dancing, but there’s much more. She has seven children (yes seven,) teaches full time, and has just spent six years working on a college degree. She graduates from Metro State with a Bachelors Degree at the end of May. Liz has done this with a few grants, but mostly by her own earning power. It wears me out just writing about it. Go Liz! Congratulations!
