Just a few of the many items up for bid in the Live Auction or in the Brown Bag Raffle will be 10 passes to Wolf Creek Ski Area; a beautiful 14k chrome tourmaline and diamond pendant with 18” wheat chain custom designed by Summer Phillips Goldsmith; a collectable 1937 Hamley & Company saddle; an Orvis Day Tripper float tube; a Yazzai signed Kachina Doll, sports and Hollywood memorabilia, three fabulous horsehair pottery pieces by Navajo artist and designer Kinlicheni, and numerous gift certificates from local and area merchants.

We will also have a Peavey Grind Bass 4 BXP NTB and a Floyd Rose Discovery Series DST-2 electric guitars on hand for your bidding pleasure.

There will be some wonderful artwork this year including works by Barbara Rosner, Chuck Ren (signed and numbered artist's proof), Rick Unger (signed and numbered wrapped canvas), and many other talented artists.

Even your cat or dog can benefit by your attendance at the event — there will be 13 delightful and creative cat and dog baskets that will make it very difficult to choose which one to bid on.

Plan to attend one of the most enjoyable evenings of the year which benefits a great cause – keeping our county free of wandering cats and dogs and providing them with a temporary home until they can be reunited with their owners or an adoptive home can be found.

Remember, discounted tickets can be purchased until noon Friday August 22, at the Humane Society Thrift Store, Chamber of Commerce, Moonlight Books, and the Plaid Pony.  Tickets will be $30 after noon and at the door.  For more information or if you have a question, call the Humane Society administration office at 264-5549.
