Ronnie Zaday, Chair of the SW Workforce Board, will also give an update on workforce development and Laura Lewis Marchino of Region 9 EDD will also give an update on the Archuleta Community Development Action Plan (CDAP). The Southwest Organization for Sustainability (SOS) and the Ruby Sisson Library invite you to a special viewing of of the film, American Meat, on June 15th at 2:30 pm at the Ruby Sisson Library, followed by a discussion. This free program consists of educational talks that focus on Chimney Rock National Monument. Participants will also enjoy Native American flute melodies by Charles Martinez. Program is from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The program will be held in the upper parking area and will provide an experience for those who choose not to do the hiking tour or for anyone who wants to learn more about Chimney Rock. Secretary of State Scott Gessler, who is also a candidate for Governor, Senator Ellen Roberts, Colorado GOP Chairman Ryan Call, as well as several local candidates that will be running in 2014 mid-term elections will be the speakers at the annual Patriot's Day Celebration sponsored by the ACRW and Central Committee on June 22. Patriot's Day Celebration is in place of the 2nd Tuesday monthly ACRW meeting. The BBQ lunch will be held from 11am to 2pm at the Youth Center. Admission is free, lunch is $20.00.
