Two new Town Tourism Committee sponsored projects were installed across the street from Pagosa's main downtown retail block last Monday. This large aluminum, wood and rock sign is internally lit and directs visitors to nearby amenities, including the Visitor Center, Hot Springs, parks, river activities, museums, shopping and dining. Another informational sigh overlooks the San Juan River ner Tequila's Restaurant. The new wayfinding signs have been in the planning stages for a couple of years and will supposedly set the style for future downtown signage.
